1. About StudyNest

StudyNest is a browser-based focus timer and study-space website. This notice explains how information is handled through the currently available free tools.

2. Learning data stored on your device

Your tasks, focus goals, timer settings and study history are stored locally in your browser using local storage. They are not uploaded to a StudyNest account or study database. You can export a backup from Settings & Data, and you can remove local records with the data-clear control or by clearing browser storage. Clearing storage can permanently remove records unless you have exported a backup.

3. Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and security logs to deliver and protect the service. If website analytics are enabled, basic visit or performance information may also be processed. StudyNest does not intentionally place advertising-tracking cookies as part of the current application.

4. Feedback and third parties

If you choose to submit feedback, you are redirected to a form hosted by Feishu. Information you choose to enter, such as a message, device details or contact information, is handled by that form provider and accessible to the StudyNest operator. Please do not submit passwords, sensitive personal information or private study records. Third-party services operate under their own policies.

5. Payments

StudyNest does not currently operate a subscription checkout or collect payment card details. Before any paid checkout is enabled, we will identify the payment provider and explain how purchase information is processed.

6. Sharing, retention and security

We do not sell your local learning records. Locally stored data remains until you remove it or your browser removes it. Voluntary feedback may remain in the third-party form system until handled or deleted under that service's settings and applicable requirements. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and contact

You may stop using the service, delete local records, export your information, or contact us about voluntarily submitted feedback and applicable privacy rights. Use the StudyNest feedback form to reach the operator. Please include enough information to identify your own submission without sharing secrets.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated when service features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected on this site with an updated effective date.

1. The service

StudyNest provides a browser-based study space, focus timers, ambient audio, simple local task suggestions and personal progress tools. The current service is free to use without an account. We may maintain, improve or discontinue features with reasonable notice where appropriate.

2. Availability of paid features

The Pro Plan lists benefits currently in development: an AI companion, cloud backup and premium background sounds. Pro enrollment will open only after the relevant services and checkout are available. Until then, the “Upgrade to Pro” button provides information rather than completing an order.

3. Your responsibilities

Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it, access other users' information, misrepresent the service or abuse feedback systems. You are responsible for backing up browser-local study records and keeping your own devices secure.

4. Intellectual property

The website design, original artwork, text and software are provided by StudyNest or their respective rights holders. Personal study content that you enter remains yours. You may not redistribute or resell the service or its materials unless permitted by applicable licenses or law.

5. No professional advice or guarantees

StudyNest is a productivity tool, not an accredited tutoring provider, medical service or source of professional advice. We do not guarantee study outcomes, exam results, uninterrupted access or the availability of any announced future feature.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the free service is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted performance. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Future purchases and disputes

Before enabling paid subscriptions, we will present the actual product details, billing period, cancellation process, applicable buyer terms and refund policy. The current website does not process subscriptions.

8. Contact and changes

Questions about the service or these Terms may be sent through the StudyNest feedback form. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date.
STUDYNEST / LEGAL

1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains how digital subscription purchases would be handled once a verified checkout is introduced. The currently available StudyNest service is free; there are no active Pro subscription purchases at this time.

2. Activated digital services

Purchases of activated digital services are generally non-refundable after access has been provided, except where applicable law requires a refund or mandatory consumer rights apply. Any legally required withdrawal rights, disclosures or express consents will be addressed at checkout where relevant.

3. Exceptions and service problems

We will review requests involving duplicate or unauthorized charges, failure to deliver purchased access, material defects that cannot reasonably be remedied, or other grounds required by law. Requests made before access is activated may also be considered under the terms presented at purchase.

4. How to request help

For questions about an order or a future refund, contact us using the StudyNest feedback form and include the order reference if one exists. Do not submit full payment card numbers or passwords.

5. Payment-provider rules

If Lemon Squeezy or another authorized payment provider processes future transactions, that provider's mandatory buyer terms, statutory obligations and refund or dispute procedures also apply. A payment provider may issue refunds in circumstances permitted by its terms, including to resolve payment disputes. This policy does not override those rights.
